On Sunday, November 2nd, I’ll be part of a group of artists celebrating Dia de los Muertos en Dallas at Cathedral Guadalupe Church (downtown Dallas). Presented by ArtLoveMagic, the event will take place outside the church from 1pm to 6pm. Full details are forthcoming on artist and musician/performer lineup, so check the Facebook event page for more details as they are posted. Last year’s Dia de los Muertos Art & Coffee event was a blast, and this year is shaping up to be even bigger and better!

I have been super busy, spending most of my free time creating specifically for this show. I have always been fascinated by this Mexican holiday and am honored to have been invited to participate in this artful celebration.

I’ll have a variety of Day of the Dead-themed art available for sale, including: original paintings and mixed media pieces, prints, crafty hand-made things like sugar skull magnets, hand-pulled block prints, and some special woodburned pieces that I’m keeping secret until show day. Note: I’ll have plenty of affordable items, too. 😉

The event is family-friendly (probably pet-friendly too), with interactive artsy activities for the kids, so bring your whole crew!

  1. You should come to San Antonio sometime. There are tons of festivals and markets for showcasing art and lots of cultural themes all year round. I love San Antonio during Day of the dead!!
